Rachel graduated from Augusta State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. She has over 15 years of coaching and judging experience. Rachel was a four year member of the Varsity Aquinas Fighting Irish Football and Competition Cheerleading Squad where she won the Coaches and Spirit award her senior year. She also served one year as a member of the Cheer Ltd. summer camp staff in Fayetteville, NC and staffed at Cheer Ltd. Nationals at Canam.
Rachel is also a former member of the Augusta State University cheerleading squad where she cheered five years and met her husband who played for the Augusta State basketball team. Rachel and Luke married in 2010 and had their first daughter in 2013, who is now a member of our Youth Prep team. The Tambon family was happy to welcome baby number two to the family this summer with the birth of their son.
Rachel has coached levels one through five and her teams have aquired multiple National titles. Rachel's Youth 1 team was the first National Stars team to receive first place at Cheersport Nationals title in 2014. She is certified by NCA, NCSSE, Cheer Ltd., and AACCA. Rachel currently coaches our Junior Medium Level 1, Junior Level 3, Senior Level Coed 4, and Half Year Prep. Rachel also assists with all other National Stars teams; Tiny Expo, Youth Prep, Senior Prep, and Junior Medium Level 2.
Meredith Dailey is a Public Relations graduate from Georgia Regents University. She cheered for seven years competitively at Westminster Schools of Augusta. She was moved to the Varsity squad her eighth grade year and voted best all-around her senior year. Once graduated Meredith coached the Westminster Middle School cheerleading squad for a year before coming to coach at ACA. While cheering four years at Augusta State Meredith also served as a “super senior” at Southern MPact in 2009 on the senior large level 3 that took the National Championship at UCA Nationals as well as in 2010 on the senior level 4 team. Meredith also cheered for the Flying High Raven's in Columbia, where her Open Level 6 team took first at All-Levels.
Meredith also served as the assistant cheerleading coach at GRU and in 2013, taking them to competition for the first time in nine years. She also coached the Westminster Schools of Augusta competitive Varsity cheerleading squad during the 2013-2014 season, as well as the Middle School squad in 2015. Coaching at ACA since its opening in 2009, Meredith’s teams have earned multiple National Championships. Meredith will no longer be coaching teams, but will be working remotely as she live in New York City, serving as a flight attendant to United Airlines. Meredith will now serve as our Director of Communications, creating posters and flyers for advertising, running the ACA website, writing a weekly newsletter for the National Stars Allstar Program, and updating all of our social media accounts. Laura started as a gymnast at the age of six before she switched over to cheerleading. Laura cheered competitively for the Haydens Twisters for 10 years. During her time with the Twisters, Laura became a four time Cheersport National Champion (2007, 2009-11). Laura also cheered with the Lakeside Panthers throughout all of high school. After graduating in 2011, Laura attended Georgia Southern University, where she began obtaining her degree in Criminal Justice. After a year at GSU, Laura moved home to attend Georgia Regents University and began coaching for the National Stars.
Laura is a USASF certified judge for both allstars and high school. Laura's Junior Level 2 team was the first in our gym to attend The D2 Summit in Orlando Floridia. This year Laura coaches our Mini Level 1, Junior Level 2 and Junior Level 4 teams as well as serving in her position of Recreational Class Director and Allstar Coordinator. Laura is responsible for managing our recreational classes and coaches as well as doing all USASF organizational responsibilities for the gym.
Sarah “Alex” Lever has received her associate’s degree in science before completing nursing school at Georgia Regents University. Alex is also certified in CPR and First Aid. Alex cheered all-stars for five years at Worldclass Cheer, as well as participation on her middle and high school teams Alex was placed on the Harlem Varsity squad her freshman year and became the captain of her squad at Grovetown High School junior year.
This is Alex’s sixth year at ACA and she coaching our Mini Level 2 team.
Deja has been a part of the ACA for six years, coming to us as an athlete on our Senior Level 4 teams. Before cheerleading, Deja was involved in gymnastics from the ages of 5-17 years old. She was involved in competitive gymnastics in Hawaii before moving to Georgia in 2010. Once she moved to Georgia, Deja joined Haydens Gymnastics. Throughout her time as a gymnast Deja has won several National Championships. She attended Westminster Schools of Augusta from 2010-2014 where she cheered competitively. In 2012, the Wildcats won the State Title for the GISA division.
Deja now attends Kennesaw University where she is pursuing her degree in Exercise Science. Deja is currently in her third season with the Kennesaw and her team won the National Title in the Intermediatel All Girl Division I. Deja currently comes home when she can and helps with teams, camps and clinics. During the summer she helps with both our allstar program and tumbling classes.
Kenietha graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Augusta University. In 2018 she graduated with a Master of Science in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University. Kenietha cheered at Augusta University for three years and then coached their competitive cheerleading quad from 2015-2018. During her time as a coach AU won a National Championship at CANAM as well as the Confrence Championshp in the All Girl division.
Kanietha currently works as the Director of Extra-Curricular Programs at Augusta Prepratory Day Shchool. In her spare time she enjoys baking, crafting and traveling. This will be Kanietha’s first season with the National Stars and she will be coaching our Junior Novice team as well as tumbling classes.
Kristen was born and raised in Morris, Illinois. She attended the University of Tampa for college and coached at the Tampa Bay Allstars for three years before moving back to Illinois. Kristen coached for twelve years at Morris High School in Illinois. They attended state eleven times and were the runners up in 2014. They also took home several conference and sectional championships. Kristen also coached at Spirit Allstars in her time in Illinois.
When Kristen moved to Evans last year she began coaching tumbling classes and our Prep teams. This year she will be coaching our Mini Level 2 and Senior 4.2 teams.
Bree Ward and her husband Lance Ward recently moved to the Augusta are and will both be helping with our allstar program in the 2018-2019 season.
The Ward’s have recently moved to the Augusta area from the West Coast. Bree and Lance both have extensive coaching histories. Bree started at California Allstars working with Mini and Prep teams. From there she moved on to OC All Stars where she coached both Junior and Senior Level 2. Their most recent gym was Powerhouse Cheer and Dance where both Bree and Lance worked with level 2, 3, 4.2, and 5 teams. This year Bree will be coaching Mini Level 1 and Junior Level 2.
Lance Ward has been at ACA for one year, after moving to Augusta from California with his wife Bree. Lance has extensive knowledge of both stunting and tumbling. From 2006-2012 he served as a Jamz Cheer and Dance Camp Instructor. From 2006-2016 he was an allstar cheer and tumbling coach for the D1 gym, Pacific Coast Magic. From there he moved to Powerhouse Cheer and Fitness before moving to Augusta.
Lance holds USASF Level 1-6 credentials and was a bronze medalist at worlds in 2013 in the International Coed Open Level 5 division. This season Lance is coaching our Senior 4.2 team as well as stunting and tumbling classes.
Raegan is a junior at Lakeside High School who plans on attending Colorado University Boulder while cheering on their all girl competitive squad. She would like to major in Visual Art and Psychology so that she can eventually become an art therapist. Reagan cheering for ACA at the age of eleven. She also cheered on Lakeside's JV competition team her freshman and sophomore year.
Raegan currently cheers on our Senior Level 4 team and also coaches recreational tumbling classes while serving as a Junior Coach for our Youth Prep team.
Lainey is a sophomore at Evans High School. She has been cheering since the age of 5. Cheerleading and tumbling are truly her passion. This will be her 8th season cheering competitively for ACA. She is currently an Evans Knights Competitive Football and Basketball cheerleader. Her future plans include cheering for college and majoring in Nursing. She plans to travel the world and explore all of the major cities in the United States as a travel nurse one day.
Lainey currently cheers on our Senior Level 4 Co-Ed team and coaches recreational tumbling classes.
Addison Claridge is currently a freshman at Georgia State University, concentrating on a major in Biology with a pre-veterinarian pathway. Addison has been with ACA since 2014 and cheered in the National Stars Allstar Program. She began coaching in our allstar program last season with our Youth Prep team.
In 2017 Addison began working at the front desk and will still be in and out of the gym over her breaks from school.
Brentley has been with the National Stars for eight seasons. She began on our Mini Expo team and began her journey moving up in levels. She has cheered on Youth Level 1, Junior Level 2, Youth Level 3, Junior Level 3, and Senior Level 4. Brentley loves working with the younger athletes in the gym and serves as a great example of hard work within the National Stars Program. Brentley currently helps with our Youth Prep team.
Jolie Bolen has been with the National Stars for five seasons. She began on our Mini Prep team and continued on to Mini Level 1, Junior Level 1, Junior Level 2 and Senior 4.2. Jolie loves working with the younger National Stars athletes and is a great help to the coaches she assists. Jolie has served as a Junior coach for our Tiny Expo team the past two seasons. We can't wait to watch Jolie continue to grow and develop as both a coach and cheerleader within our program.
